Welcome students!!
Before the summer program begins… make sure to bring some water, prepare a note taking medium, and get some sleep!!!
Please gather at Building 54, Room 100 on the first day. The opening program starts at 9:00am, so plan to be here by 8:30am. Virtual students- please plan to log in to Zoom at 8:55am or earlier, as network issues or software updates may occur. Whether you are attending in-person or online, the first day will be hectic and you do not want to miss out on any important information.
At 12:15pm, there will be a hour-long lunch break. Afterwards, students, TAs, and instructors will head to their classrooms/Zoom at 1:30pm. In-person room locations are listed below:
Autonomous RACECAR: Building 33, Room 116
AUV: Building 1, Room 151
Embedded Security: Building 24, Room 121
E-Textiles: NE45, Floor 2- BeaverWorks (300 Technology Square)
UAS-SAR: Building 31, Room 270
UAV: Building 24, Room 115
There will be various activities to get you situated to your new environment, like icebreakers and scavenger hunts. Instructors will also go over the syllabus and introduce certain class topics. Students may even dive into the course material on the first day. We hope that this is an opportunity that opens your eyes to the exciting intricacies of the STEM world.
