Sigrid Flender joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Division 10 as the Beaver Works Administrative Assistant in January 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with minors in Biology and Business, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in December 2023. In her role, Sigrid supports the BWSI managers with organization, event planning, and supply management. She plays a vital part in staff training, as well as the recruitment and supervision of teaching assistants. Additionally, she facilitates online course enrollment for the summer program and actively promotes STEM involvement at outreach events. Sigrid takes great pride in witnessing student growth each year and is excited about the future development of BWSI! Outside of work, Sigrid enjoys spending time with family/friends and being active in ways including running, cycling, and hiking.
