We hope that you were transformed by BWSI this year – here’s an opportunity for you to thank the instructors, TA’s, and staff for putting together this terrific program.
Please go to this form and we will share them out. You may have emailed or posted on Slack or Discord, but add something here too- it’s great to hear from you and it’s really appreciated!
College Recommendations!
For MIT recommendations: Please use “other” or “supplemental” for our role. Do not use “educator” for our role, as it asks questions that we cannot answer.
Many of our alum request recommendations for college which we are happy to provide but as we get hundreds of requests, we have to streamline the process.
When you apply to a college, you must use bwsi-rec@mit.edu as the email address for recommendations and fill out this Recommendation Request Form. This is the email address for that sites such as Common App and MIT recommendations use. If you do not use this email address, we will not be able to submit.
We ask in the request form to include your resume and a document describing where you are applying, and what your interests are for college, so that we can help improve your rec letter. We do not provide recommendations directly to students.
Some instructors prefer to the point of contact for a college recommendation. YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT FOR A COLLEGE RECOMMENDATION FOR THE COURSES BELOW. Instead, please email the appropriate instructor with the links to the sites to submit YOUR RECOMMENDATION. We do not provide recommendations directly to students.
