Lisa Kelley has been a valued member of the MIT Lincoln Laboratory community since 1997, holding diverse business management roles and progressing to oversee complex financial and educational programs. Her career includes managing multiple teams with broad program scopes, culminating in her position as Assistant Division Business Manager for the ISR and Tactical Systems Division, where she oversaw 10 groups and managed $100 million in funding.

Lisa joined Beaver Works in 2014, advancing from Business Manager to Operations Manager. Since 2016, she has served as the Program Manager for the Beaver Works Summer Institute (BWSI), where she has led BWSI’s growth and impact. She manages all budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning activities, collaborates closely with MIT faculty and departments, and has expanded BWSI to reach 4,000 students annually, a mission-critical role recognized by her 2020 MIT Excellence Award for Outstanding Contributor.

Her responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of Beaver Works and BWSI financial operations, grant writing, and HR, as well as maintaining compliance with safety regulations and facilities management.  She coordinates the recruitment, training, and supervision of nearly 100 staff each summer, maintaining high standards for safety and compliance, especially in programs involving minors.
